Due to the spread of bee diseases, in many countries beekeepers treat their hives and, therefore, the products become contaminated. We never treat our bees with any kind of drug. We do Instrumental Insemination of queens in order to enhance their genetic resistance to diseases and parasites. 

Baccharis propolis is produced in only about 3% of the Brazilian territory. Most bees mix resin from different plants to produce propolis.  We select and plant Baccharis dracunculifolia around the apiaries, to make sure that the bees find this special source of resin so that they will use it to produce premium propolis.

Our apiaries are located on our own rural lands, near potable sources of water, in a clean environment, free from heavy metals, antibiotics, pesticides, genetically modified organisms and pollution.

Innovative harvesting and handling processes allow for a fresh product with intense bio-availability and effectiveness.

We employ meticulous quality control and extraction methods, taking into consideration the different molecular weights of the various substances, their integrity and their pharmacological activities.

Our quality control standards are monitored and their compliance certified by ISO 9001 / GMP by five other international accreditation institutions: SIF, INMETRO, DNV, JAB and UKAS. This quality-oriented policy has put us in a leading position in the propolis market, accounting for 15% of all Japanese propolis imports (raw material).
